Chevron Oronite to Sponsor and Present at UNITI Mineral Oil Technology Congress 2019

SAN RAMON, Calif., March 18, 2019 – Chevron Oronite announced that it will again be sponsoring and presenting at the UNITI Mineral Oil Technology Congress to be held April 2-3, 2019 in Stuttgart, Germany.

On April 2 at 5:45 p.m., the company will be hosting an after-work cocktail in the Foyer of the Hegel Saal in the Liederhalle. Then, on April 3 at 10:10 a.m., Ruud ter Rele, industry liaison, Heavy-Duty OEMs, Chevron Oronite Technology Netherlands B.V., will be making a presentation titled, Global Heavy-Duty Engine Oil Specifications and their Impact on Current and Next Generation Lubricants.

“In this presentation, I will explain why heavy-duty emissions standards are becoming more stringent and how they will become increasingly harmonized around the world,” said ter Rele. “Thus, I will review and compare the API, ACEA and JASO industry specifications, as well as provide insight on the impact these have on engine oil formulations.”

The Congress draws on specialists from the lube and fuel sector as well as experts in mechanical engineering and the automotive industry who will discuss recent industry trends and developments in lubricants and fuels. The interaction between representatives of the additives industry and the automobile industry will be particularly valuable.
