Carlos Siso is lead counsel for Chevron Oronite, a position he has held since 2017. Siso is a business lawyer who advises on a wide variety of Oronite matters including sales, procurement and other transactions, and coordinates Oronite legal support globally.
Prior to joining Chevron Oronite in 2014, Siso was an attorney at Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells) from 2007 to 2010, where he advised clients on business transactions in the United States and Latin America. From 2010 to 2014, Siso worked as in-house counsel at the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, where he advised on multibillion-dollar projects and contracts to modernize the U.S. air transportation system.
Siso is a member of the Washington, D.C., and Florida Bars and previously served as secretary of the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia and as a vice-chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Public Contract Law, Contract Claims and Dispute Resolution Committee.
Siso is a graduate of the New York University School of Law (2007) where he was an associate editor for the New York University Law Review and a Root-Tilden-Kern scholar.
