Colleen Cervantes is president of Chevron Oronite Company LLC, a position she has held since April 2021. In this role Cervantes is responsible for the development, manufacturing and marketing of Chevron Oronite additives and specialty chemicals, along with Chevron’s technology marketing organization (TEMA) and oversight of the company’s connection with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, or CP Chem, a 50/50 joint venture with Phillips 66. In addition, Cervantes directs the change management activities throughout the Downstream & Chemicals organization.
Previously, Cervantes was president of Chevron Lubricants, with global responsibility for the manufacturing and blending of finished lubricants and coolants to consumer, commercial and industrial customers, including the worldwide marketing and sales of Chevron premium base oils.
Before leading Chevron Lubricants, Cervantes was the vice president, Product Supply & Trading, with global responsibility for refined products and biofuels supply & trading and marine fuels marketing. She came to the supply & trading role after serving as vice president, Global Marketing, Asia Pacific region, where she was responsible for the retail sales and terminal operations, commercial and industrial fuel sales, and asphalt operations throughout an 11-country area. While in Asia, Cervantes served on the Board of Directors for Caltex Australia Ltd., Chevron’s refining and marketing joint venture.
Cervantes began her 35+ year career with Chevron as a project engineer in the company’s retail marketing department. She worked in roles of increasing responsibility in the marketing function, eventually leading North America’s Retail West team.
Cervantes received her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1983.
