SAN RAMON, Calif., March 14, 2024 – Chevron Oronite is sponsoring and presenting at Lubricant Expo North America which will be held March 19-21, 2024 at Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan.  


Join Chevron Oronite on Tuesday March 19 at 3:30pm CT, as Patrick McDougall, technology & lower carbon strategy manager, Chevron Chemicals, joins an expert panel titled “The Carbon Puzzle: Getting a Grip on Data, Processes and Measurements to Achieve Scope 1-3 Carbon Reductions”. This session will delve into how companies are auditing and offsetting carbon emissions within lubricant formulation and the efforts to establish a standardized methodology.


On Thursday, March 21 at 2:00pm CT, Rebecca Warden, senior research engineer, Chevron Oronite, will participate in a panel discussion on “Testing Advancements and Developments for EV Lubricant Evaluations”. As electric vehicles (EVs) gain traction, this session will explore the latest developments in EV-specific lubricant development, testing and performance evaluation.
