SAN RAMON, Calif., May 14, 2025 - Chevron Oronite is proud to announce its sponsorship and presentation of three technical papers at the 79th Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) Annual Meeting & Exhibition. The event will take place from May 18 to May 22 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.
Devin Wall, fundamentals research associate, and Ashish Jha, lead research scientist at Chevron Oronite, will present “Insights into Synergistic Workings of Additives Improving Engine Cleanliness” on Wednesday, May 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. This presentation examines how synergistic interactions within lubricating oil formulations may be harnessed to increase lubricant longevity and improve engine cleanliness.
Kuldeep Mistry, lead research scientist, and Devin Wall, fundamentals research associate at Chevron Oronite, will deliver a presentation titled “Bench Friction Evolution of Lubricant Formulations to Understand Engine Fuel Economy” on Thursday, May 22, from 3:20 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. This presentation will highlight how optimized high-performance lubricants improve engine fuel economy and performance through advanced additive technologies for automotive engine lubricants.
On Thursday, May 22, Jessica Tanuwidjaja, lead research scientist in the Chemistry Development & Fundamentals team at Chevron Oronite, will present “Structure-Property of Functionalized Sulfur-Containing Antiwear Additives for Driveline Applications” from 4:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. In this presentation, performance and properties of various sulfurized antiwear additives will be discussed to enable better componentry design addressing driveline wear needs.
