chevron oronite announces new 

distributor in Brazil

SAN RAMON, Calif., September 08, 2020 – Chevron Oronite Brasil Ltda. (“COB”) has signed an agreement naming quantiQ Distribuidora Ltda. as their distributor in Brazil. The agreement involves not only OLOA® lubricant additives, OGA® gasoline additives, and PARATONE® Viscosity Modifiers (VM), but quantiQ will also distribute Oronite chemicals which include a diverse product line of raw materials, intermediates, and components, including: PIBSA, inhibitors, detergents, dispersants, alkylphenol, alkylate, phenate, sulfonate, pentamer, and tetramer.

 

“The team at quantiQ, is highly experienced in the lubricants, base oils, additives, and chemicals businesses, which makes them a welcome addition to the Oronite distributor network,” says Marcos Santos, sales manager, Latin America, Chevron Oronite. “The agreement compliments an existing partnership with Chevron in base oils distribution, providing a complete solution for the lubricant market.”

 

quantiQ acquired the rights of distribution of Goaltech Produtos Químicos Ltda. who had been Chevron Oronite’s distributor in Brazil for lubricant and fuel additives. As the latest addition to a strong distributor network, the agreement with quantiQ further reinforces Oronite’s commitment to supporting lubricant providers in Latin America with the right products, services and technology solutions.
