Chevron Oronite to Sponsor and Present at 

F&L Week 2023

SAN RAMON, Calif., June 5, 2023 – Chevron Oronite is proud to give three presentations and be a gold sponsor for the F&L Week: Conference & Exhibition, which will be held June 14-16 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The theme of this year’s conference is “Fuels & Lubricants: Navigating the Energy Transition” and attendees are welcome to learn more about Oronite’s additive solutions at tabletop B3 in the Four Seasons Ballroom.


Koon Eng Goh, vice president, Commercial, Chevron Oronite, will present “Navigating through an Evolving Additive Industry” on Wednesday June 14 at 10:50am. Goh will share his perspective on how disruptive events such as Covid-19, supply chain upheaval and energy transition have shaped the industry in the recent past and how Oronite is preparing for a low carbon future.


Dinesh Bansal, senior research & development specialist, Chevron Oronite will present “Understanding Challenges for H2-ICE Lubricants and Demonstrating Performance of an Engine Oil in an H2-ICE” on Wednesday June 14 at 4:40pm. The research presented will help advance efforts to offer a robust and reliable lubricant additive technology for use in hydrogen internal combustion engines without increasing the maintenance complexity for fleet owners.


Raj Padmanabhan, AP regional product line manager - AEO/VM/SE, Chevron Oronite, will present “Bio-Diesel Usage in Heavy Duty Applications and Lubricant Solutions” on Thursday June 15 at 2:20pm.  This presentation will share the work done by Oronite on the diesel engine oil formulations with test data that demonstrate compatibility with 20-30% biodiesel blends, which supports Oronite’s efforts to collaborate with the stakeholders in helping advance lower carbon solutions used for transportation.


Additionally, Chevron Oronite is delighted to receive two F&L Asia Awards for 2023.  The “F&L Asia Person Of The Year” will be presented to Koon Eng Goh, vice president, Commercial, Chevron Oronite. The award is a recognition of Goh’s leadership, contributions and impact on Oronite and the industry as a whole in the region.  Chevron Oronite's OLOA® 49844, an innovative additive package designed for 2-stroke low-speed marine engines, will receive the prestigious “F&L Asia Product Development of the Year Award.”
