OLOA 55600 is the latest example of the innovative technology Oronite continues to deliver through our PCFlex ADDvantage, which represents the value and flexibility our customers can achieve through working with our team of experts. OLOA 55603 has an embedded pour point depressant.

OLOA 55530 in appropriate Group II and/or III base stocks meets API SN Plus performance requirements. It provides excellent deposit, oil oxidation, wear and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) control in turbocharged gasoline direct injection engines. OLOA 55530 also meets or exceeds the performance requirements for the International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) GF-5 and API SN categories with PARATONE® VII 24 or 35 or 50 SSI. OLOA 55530 can also be blended by combining OLOA 55501 with a booster (OLOA 58870). OLOA 55530 plus booster (OLOA 58837) provides a linkage to OLOA 55516.

OLOA 55531 has the added benefit of a pour point depressant (PPD). With OLOA 55531, you can eliminate the need to stock multiple products, further simplifying your logistics.

OLOA 55526 can be used in a variety of viscosity grades and is designed specifically to provide LSPI protection performance in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vehicles in China. OLOA 55526 in appropriate base stocks meets or exceeds the performance requirements for International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) GF-5/ API SN performance requirements. This additive package provides excellent deposit oil oxidation, wear and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) control in T-GDI gasoline engines.

OLOA 55516 continues to deliver increased engine protection and helps to improve fuel economy needed for the ILSAC GF-6 standard at a competitive treat rate while leveraging a variety of base oil and viscosity modifier coverage.  In 2015, Oronite received the first dexos1® Gen 2 (formerly known as dexos1:2015) approval from General Motors (GM) for our OLOA 55516 additive technology.

With OLOA 55516, you get the flexibility of an oil that helps simplify your logistics while delivering excellent performance to your end user. 

OLOA 55501 amd 55503 for passenger car motor oils is an example of the Oronite commitment to help automakers and oil marketers meet ILSAC GF-5/API SN requirements. This high-performance additive can be used in virtually all Group II and Group III base oils. From controlling oxidation and catalytic converter fouling due to phosphorous volatility to preventing engine wear and protecting against sludge deposits and valve train wear, OLOA 55501 is the product that meets all your needs. OLOA 55503 has the added benefit of a pour point depressant (PPD). With OLOA 55503, you can eliminate the need to stock multiple products, further simplifying your logistics.

OLOA 54508 is a high-performance additive package for latest generation Volkswagen (VW) engines requiring VW 508.00/509.00 specification. It has been specifically formulated to meet demanding fuel economy requirements while improving engine protection. OLOA 54508 also covers ACEA C5 category.

OLOA 54120 is a conventional SAPS additive package with comprehensive PCMO coverage. Available in both SAE 5W-30 and 5W-40, it provides outstanding anti-oxidation and cleanliness as required by the BMW N20 durability tests as well as viscosity increase control for increased oil drain interval. Formulated with enhanced PARATONE® viscosity modifier, it delivers robust high temperature performance and cold start performance.

OLOA 54510 is a high performance fully synthetic mid-SAPS additive for PCMO diesel and gasoline engines that help improve fuel economy, reduce emissions while providing an enhanced aftertreatment protection and a logistic advantage. OLOA 54510 covers both C2/C3-2016 claims.

OLOA 54530 and OLOA 54520 are innovative Mid-SAPS additive packages that are compatible with all types of modern after-treatment systems in both diesel and gasoline engines. OLOA 54530 & OLOA 54520 help protect against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) events and meet multiple OEM claims. For 54530, claims include: ACEA C2/C3, C2/C5 (0W-20/30), API SP, BMW LL-04, Daimler MB 2298.51, MB 229.52 and the new Opel Vauxhall 0401547 and for OLOA 54520 claims include ACEA C2/C3, C2/C5 (0W-20/30), API SP, MB 229.31 MB 229.51, MB 229.52, PSA B71 2290 and RN17(IP)/RN0700/710. In addition, these additive packages are approved for use with a wide range of Group III base oils.

OLOA 54499, a cost-effective version, offers the same features and benefits as OLOA 54510 but with a shorter profile.

OLOA 54050 is an API SN, ACEA A3/B4 Group II PCMO SAE 10W-40 and 15W-40 product for conventional oils. The package meets and exceeds OEMs specification especially in wear and oxidation resistance. It offers base oil flexibility and is formulated with our enhanced PARATONE® viscosity modifier for simplified logistics.

OLOA 54720 offers simplified logistics and addresses the latest, most demanding OEM requirements. This one product addresses a wide range of SAE 0W-20 OEM claims, such as BMW LL17FE+, MB229.71, Volvo RBS0-2AE 0W-20, WSS-M2C947-B1 and WSS-M2C962-A1. OLOA 54720 is one of the first low viscosity SAE 0W-20 additive packages to provide low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) protection. It passes stringent LSPI tests, including those from Daimler, API and Opel, helping prevent severe engine damage caused by LSPI. It has been upgraded to meet the latest ACEA C5/C6 specifications as well as API SP (RC) and SN Plus (RC) specifications.

 

In an attempt to reduce emissions, car manufacturers have downsized engines and equipped them with turbochargers to maintain drivability. These conditions cause oils to degrade sooner, to thicken faster, and makes them more prone to form deposits. OLOA 54720 helps keep the engine clean and provides turbocharger protection in these tough conditions.

 

Fuel economy gains are enabled by new engine designs incorporating several technologies that make them more efficient, such as direct injection. While lowering viscosity for fuel economy reasons, our formulators were able to maintain the durability and cleanliness performance that is important for European OEM’s. Car makers are increasingly requiring SAE 0W-20 synthetic oils with low viscosity and low friction, to help improve fuel economy and deliver high performance.
